MARKETS: The Patong Beach Road Market is the main shopping street catering to tourists. All along the beach road south of Soi Bangla, and down a few of the small alleys, are stalls and shops selling cheap designer goods, beach wear, watches, some electrical goods and souvenir items. Quite a few stalls and shops are open during the day but the street really comes alive in the evenings.
FRUIT & VEG MARKET: The Banzaan market is located behind Jungceylon Shopping center. You can get there from Nanai Road or through Jungceylon from Rat-U-Thit road. The market sells fresh seafood, fruit & vegies and on the upper floors you can find a variety of clothes and toys as well as food hall selling Thai and Chinese cusine. Open daily from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
SHOPPING CENTER: Jungceylon is one of the newest arrivals on the scene and have taken shopping and entertainment in Phuket to a whole new level. This shopping complex feature a plethora of shops, restaurants, as well as cinemas and other entertainment. Jungceylon also has water shows at 3:00pm, 7:00pm and 9:00pm.

The Butterfly Garden in Phuket town is a wonderful day out for families with small children. Marvel at the butterflies as they flap their wings in the beautiful gardens. The center is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
This Dino Park is more than just a dinasaur park, situated in Karon Beach, it is an 18 hole mini golf course, with an open air restaurant with waterfall and streams, a street-side bar and a wilderness garden full of roaring, realistic dinasaurs.
The Phuket Aquarium is located near the southern tip of the island in Ao Makham on Cape Panwa. A taxi or tuk tuk from Patong will take about 1 hour. Although quite small it has an impressive 10 metre long underwater glass tunnel and the admission fee is fairly reasonable. Open daily from 8:30am - 4:00pm.
